Book Club

The Shutford Book Club meets on the last Monday of each month in Shutford Village Hall.  Although this gives us more space, we’ve decided we need to limit membership to 15 people to ensure everyone in the group can hear each other and get a word in edgeways.  It’s already a big group and can be quite a challenge….

We’ve been able to grow a little thanks to the move, but are currently now full.  However, you can always take part virtually.  The books we are reading are regularly published in the Shutford News and on the village website, so feel free to read them alongside the Book Club. You can volunteer your thoughts via email to Kirsten Parrish or a note in the door of "The Nook" in Church Lane if you'd like to, and we'll share them at the meetings!

If you’re a member of a fellow book group in Shutford or the surrounding area and are looking for new members, please let me know – I do get enquiries from people wanting to take part and it would be great to be able give them suggestions for other contacts. It’s horrible having to turn people away – but nice that so many people are supportive of the idea!

Contact details:  Kirsten Parrish, kirsten@kpgardencare.co.uk or 780412.
