Shutford Parish Council 2025-26

Parish Councillor Vacancy
Become a Councillor on Shutford Parish Council. You will be elected for a term of four years to represent the interests of the local community as a whole and promote a harmonious local environment. The Parish Council meets at 7.30 pm once every two months and meetings normally last 1-2 hours, so it is not onerous.

Parish councils make all kinds of decisions on issues that affect the local community. Probably the most common topics that parish councils get involved with are planning matters, crime prevention, managing open spaces and campaigning for and delivering better services and facilities.

If you would like to serve your local community in this way, please contact the parish clerk, David Best on 07787 496774 or [email protected]
